what type of flirt are u

April 16th, 2008 by rainnyzeke

You’re a sarcastic flirt.                                                   from muchie 05

Admitting you like someone seems like a huge risk to you, so you joke around rather than acknowledging your real feelings. Instead of giving someone a straightforward compliment, you make fun of him/her in an affectionate way. You’d never be mean to a stranger, but if you find someone attractive, you’ll tease that person and start lots of play fights. If you push someone or pretend to punch them, it’s usually just an excuse for a little physical contact. When you make flirty comments, you use lots of sarcasm, so if the other person gets weirded out, you can say, "Hey, I was kidding! I don’t really like you!"

A RECAP of YESTERDAY!!

April 16th, 2008 by rainnyzeke
I thought we would never be going out…I really wasn’t expecting anything at all…I’m used to celebrating birthdays at home…
But surprisingly my family took me out to Chowking..i was so happy!!!
A simple celebration like this means a lot to me…as long as my family is complete, I’m already satisfied!!!^_^
The food was delicious!!!^_^
Also, my mother bought me an Ouran High School Host Club DVD!!!
She knew I’ve been longing for it for so long…thank you, okaasama!!!^_^
She
was supposed to buy me 2 DVD’s, but I and my sis didn’t find another
interesting show aside from Ouran. Also, I didn’t want to spend more
for another DVD.
*char char*
There’s Nodame Cantenible live
action, but my sister’s not so interested. Well, who would want to
watch a show with Endo in it???
Gomen, Joudan!!!
I’ll try reading a summary and review of the show…maybe I’ll get to buy it if it satisfies my taste.
Shortly after we got home, I and my sis played "Legend of Dragoon" which we borrowed from our cousin next door…

ala c lavitz…nangita pag uyab…joke!!!

SUGEH!!!
Such nice graphics and unique battle style!!! As expected from Squaresoft.
Well, it’s undeniable we’re Squaresoft fanatics anyway….hehehehehehehe
It’s
like Chrono Cross and Final fantasy 9 combined. However, the setting is
on a medieval time. The structures, places and fashion are western
style. It kinda has that damp atmosphere, well, it’s supposed to be
medieval right???
What impressed me about this game are the
breathtaking sceneries which greatly reminded me of the Final Fantasy
series. In addition to that is the battle style which one shouldn’t
take out of focus while playing. The character’s hit points depends on
the controller himself, so we must always concentrate on it!!!
Kuyawa bah!!!
Well, this morning, the controller is with my sister…she seems addicted to it!!! Joke sis…
That’s it neh!!!
Dewa mata neh!!!^_^

April 16th, 2008 by rainnyzeke

Especially here in our country… everywhere is hot…
sometimes, it’s plain "igang"…I dunno how to say that in english…
Even though the electric fan’s set to maximum… it’s still hot!!!
Frustration daze….
I can only go to malls if I have an important appointment there…it’s only one ride from here…
I’m sticking inside the house this whole summer!!!
oh well, shikata ga nai neh!!!
I have to survive!!!
Well, talking bout summer, I have a lot of things to accomplish…
I mean, I have to be productive!!! I don’t want this once-in-a-year opportunity to be wasted!!!
Yup, because after this vacation, I’ll become VERY BUSY again.
It’s already my 3rd year in Civil Engineering… have to get double, triple, nth-ple serious!!!
I can’t afford to fail in any subject…especially all my subjects this school year are the major ones!!!
OKAY!!! Why am I already blabbering about school…
gomen gomen gomen to me
*pakongs the head*
I have to finish coloring my month-long drawing!!!
I was having problems with the colors to use.. yesterday, I spent like, 5 minutes thinking over black and navy blue.. my drawing has already gold, red and gray on it..
Nowadays I was already being careful on what colors to use…because before I sometimes get to pick the wrong ones…
I’m open to suggestions!!!
jah..
*stomach’s rumbling*
Tabemashoo!!!

EASY MAGIC TRICKS

April 15th, 2008 by rainnyzeke

The perfect easy magic trick to learn…

A
card is chosen, and lost in the deck. Five cards are taken out of the
deck and placed into the spectators fist - between the first and second
fingers. The cards are slapped out of the fist, and one card remains.
It is the chosen card.

Secret:

Use
"Feel the Heat" or the "Classic Force" to lose a card in the deck. If
you don’t already know these easy ways to find or force a card, then
use the left naviagation and for goodness sakes, go learn them! They
are also both pretty easy magic tricks to learn.

Look through the deck and grab 4 indifferent cards as well as the selected card.

Place the selected card on the bottom of the stack of these five cards.

David Blaine would love these magic tricks

Place
the cards between the first knuckles of the audience memeber’s
outstreched fist. To make sure you know exactly where to place the
cards, I will try to explain a little further.

If
someone was going to punch you with their fist, and this was all going
in slow motion, you could fit cards into their fist. Just imagine
yourself sliding in the cards between the cracks in their knuckles.
This is where the cards go. (Easy so far?)

Count to three "One, Two, Three!!"

Slap
the cards like you were giving someone five. Smack! The bottom card is
the one that will stay in the fist. You have to hit it fairly hard, but
still be gentle.

Obviously, this is one magic
trick you will have to practice on yourself to get both the right fist
tension and the slapping motion down. But in reality, it is a pretty
easy magic trick to do.

Turn over the last remaining card. Is this it? Hopefully you can come up with a better saying for this trick like!

THIS
IS AMAZING! THE ONE FINAL CARD REMAINING IS MIRACULOUSLY YOUR CARD
WHICH WAS ABSOLUTELY LOST IN THE DECK! I SWEAR IT HAS GOT TO BE A
MIRACLE! WOW!

This is a perfect trick to teach to
kids because it involves some action, some complexity, but it really is
pretty simple and easy to do.

FEEL a GHOST

April 15th, 2008 by rainnyzeke

Effect:

You are sitting in front of your friend, and no one else is near. You take your index fingers and place them on your friend’s eyes as they close their eyes. Then, your friend feels something whisk past their head, then brush on their shoulder, then they feel a tap!

Secret:
This ghost magic trick is one of my all time favorites to teach to people who are just getting started in magic, or, after you do a few other tricks, this is one that you will be able to pass on to your audience members.

No sleight of hand required for this magic trick. Here’s how it works.

Step 1) First, have your friend look around the room. Point out that it is only the two of you, but you’ve been seeing some ghosts lately and you want to do a seance to see if you can conjure up a ghost.

Step 2) Tell your friend you’d like them to close their eyes in a moment. Take both of your index fingers and gently place them on the closed eyelids of your friend. Make sure they see that your index fingers are coming closer to their eyes, and that they close their eyes just about an inch before you touch their eyes.

Step 3) Quick - here’s the magic trick part of this — instead of touching them with both the index fingers, right as they close their eyes, touch them with both the index finger and little "pinky" finger. (Or your thumb and little finger). They will think that both your index fingers are touching their eyes, but now you have one hand free! You can say you’re doing this because you want to make sure that your ghost friend doesn’t want to bee seen!

Step 4) Now that I’ve explained the secret, it’s important not to go over the edge with this, if you really want it to freak your friends out. First, don’t just tap them on the shoulder. Take your hand and just barely whisk it by their ear or gently touch their ear.

Step 5) After you do the slight touch or whisk, bring your hands back to in front of their face, point both index fingers at the eyes, and slowly bring your hands away from their face as you ask them to open their eyes. When they open their eyes, they will see exactly what they saw a moment ago before they closed their eyes. Isn’t that what a ghost would do?

Step 6) They’ll be pretty freaked out at this point, so they may want to do it again. If they agree, do the exact same thing above, but this time do something slightly different. They’ll be waiting for you to tap them or touch their hair again, so do something slightly different, to surprise or catch them off guard. You could rub your fingers together next to their ear — so they’ll hear spooky things — or you could pull on the shoulder of their shirt. The important thing to do here is not to go overboard, because you don’t want to give away that it was your hand doing those things. Make them think that perhaps you could have done something else, maybe you blew on their hair, or maybe you somehow else did it. They’ll never know that it wasn’t really a ghost!

Here are some other tips to make this trick work. First of all, the secret is pretty simple, so as you read this, you might think that it’s not worth trying. Wrong! Actually this is a really strong trick, it’s fun because it doesn’t use what people may think are trick cards, trick coins, or fancy sleight of hand. So it’s a whole different area than many of the other magic tricks we describe on this web site. Also, the venue is important too. If you can wait until a spooky moment — perhaps after a scary movie, or around Halloween, it will make a more lasting impression. Also, don’t give away the secret right away, let it creep them out for a few days. If you do this properly, it’ll send chills up their spine every time they think about the trick.

This is a great magic trick to teach kids, because it is fairly easy to do. Also, an alternative is to touch your fingers right above their eyes, or on their eyebrows, but I find the other nice thing about touching their eyes is that it guarantees that they won’t try to open them.

BACKPALMING

April 15th, 2008 by rainnyzeke

EBackpalming a Card

Called Backpalming or back palming, learning this magic trick is a must for any magician. Print this page, bookmark us, but you simply must spend some time and learn this magic trick! David Blaine, David Copperfield, Jeff McBride and countless other professional magicians do this. You can too!

Effect:

You can throw cards up into the air and they magically disappear!

Secret:

learn magic tricks

Start with one card, and eventually you can move onto more. Hold the card between your thumb and index and middle fingers. Have the face of this card toward the audience.

David Blaine magic trick

Pretend to throw it up into the air. As you do this, make a fist. Let your fingers slip behind the card, so that now your thumb is pressing against your knuckles and is now holding the card.

Press the two long edges between the knuckles. Your first and middle fingers will hold onto the top long edge, and your little and ring finger will hold onto the bottom edge. Don’t worry about bending the card bigtime here.

Release with your thumb and outstretch your fingers. Keep hold of the card. It should now disappear behind your hand. (This is an exposed view. When you do this, keep your fingers together, and slowly keep your hand in motion.)

It is okay if the corners show a little, just keep your hands moving up and down.

To grab a card out of the air, just reverse this process and you can do this several times in a row.

Here is what it should look like from the back:

step up 2

Step Up 2 the Streets

'Step Up 2 the Streets'
Robert Hoffman and Briana Evigan find dance and romance in sequel ‘Step Up 2 the Streets.’

A Walt Disney Studios release of a Touchstone Pictures/Summit Entertainment presentation of a Summit Entertainment production in association with Offspring Entertainment. Produced by Patrick Wachsberger, Erik Feig, Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot. Executive producers, Bob Hayward, David Nicksay, Anne Fletcher, Meredith Milton. Co-producer, Matthew Mizel. Directed by John M. Chu. Screenplay, Toni Ann Johnson, Karen Barna, based on characters created by Duane Adler.

Andie - Briana Evigan
Chase Collins - Robert Hoffman
Blake Collins - Will Kemp
Sarah - Sonja Sohn
Moose - Adam G. Sevani
Sophie - Cassie Ventura
Missy - Danielle Polanco
Felicia - Telisha Shaw
Tuck - Black Thomas

With more dancing and less Channing Tatum than the original, "Step Up 2 the Streets" offers the illusion of edgier fare than "High School Musical,"
but uses much the same formula to separate youngsters from their
allowance. In this contempo fairy tale, an orphan girl and her bashful
love interest learn self-expression through street dancing. Rather than
mixing classical and modern styles the way "Step Up"
did, this hip-hop-powered sequel is all about new moves, which should
keep the kids coming back after the pic’s initial Valentine’s Day crush.

Tomboy
Andie (Briana Evigan) belongs to an elite inner-city dance crew called
the 410 whose latest prank–invading a subway car posing as muggers and
staging an impromptu dance show for bewildered passengers– gets its
members labeled delinquents by the Baltimore media.

Watching
reports of the 410’s "public disturbances" on TV that night, Andie’s
guardian (Sonja Sohn, pic’s only connection to HBO’s gritty,
Baltimore-based "The Wire") threatens to send the unruly orphan to
Texas. As in the first film, the wayward teen lands herself at the
Maryland School of the Arts, where her street-dancing style clashes
with the institution’s conservative methods.

By this point, it’s
clear the strait-laced dance academy is the sequel’s only tie to the
original, but fans needn’t take down their Tatum pinups just yet. The
hunky "Step Up" star returns long enough to make auds swoon anew,
challenging Andie to a dance-off. If she wins, the movie’s over and
everybody can go home. But if he wins, she agrees to take MSA seriously
and attend classes without question.

And so Tatum reminds us why
the first movie was such a runaway sensation, using trampolines to
outdance the newbie. But even this display gives only the faintest
indication of the incredible dancing in store. "Step Up 2"
features nearly as much dancing as it does dialogue, and that’s a good
thing, considering the after-school special quality of its obligatory
emotional scenes.

Flirtation proves most effective on the dance floor anyway, best exemplified by an otherwise throwaway scene choreographed by Jamal Sims (one of the original’s few alums). The most popular kid in school, Chase Collins (Robert Hoffman),
has been trying to win Andie over the entire movie, and at a friend’s
backyard barbecue, these two work out their connections through dance.

It’s
when things slow down long enough for the characters to start talking
that "Step Up 2" gets itself in trouble. Pic culminates not onstage but
at an underground dance competition called "the Streets," where rival
crews battle it out for respect. After getting dropped from the 410,
Andie allows Chase to convince her they can put their own group
together, plucking misfit students from MSA and assembling the fiercest
crew Baltimore has ever seen.

In order to make the ultimate
showdown appropriately dramatic, the writers turn the 410 into hoodlums
who play dirty, which effectively cancels the spirit of civil
disobedience and independent expression the pic espoused during its
opening scene, trading instead on the very stereotypes it set out to
counter.

Director John M. Chu, a recent USC graduate making his
feature debut, proves more than capable of handling the high-energy
dance sequences, applying a few slick moves of his own behind the
camera. Evigan and Hoffman, both dancers-turned-actors, come across as
more natural than their more mannered co-stars, and though pic is all
about grrl-power, it’s Hoffman who seems poised to break out.

Additional choreographers worked to define the routines, with Nadine "Hi Hat" Ruffin handling the 410 and Dave Scott tackling the MSA group. The soundtrack (which features infectious new tracks from Flo Rida, T-Pain, Missy Elliot, Enrique Iglesias
and more) looks likely to extend the movie’s dance craze to the clubs.
A MySpace-sponsored contest has been encouraging the
group-participation spirit for months, with winners showing their best
moves in the film.
